A Lincolnshire shoplifter has been fined for stealing LEGO from a discount retailer.

The court heard that Piragis stole two LEGO kits, valued at £33.98, from the B&M store in Spalding on Thursday, 5th October 2023.
Alison McIlroy, prosecuting, said: "He made his way to the toy section before concealing two items in a plastic bag.
"Two items were taken but the items were recovered."
The court heard that CCTV cameras caught Piragis in the act.
Helen Coney, mitigating, said: "He knows this was a daft decision on the day.
"He is on Universal Credit and means were tight."
District Judge Peter Veits, sentencing, told Piragis he had made "a stupid decision" to steal from the store.
