Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has been banned from driving after being caught speeding for the fourth time in two years.
Magistrates heard that the 35-year-old was caught by a speed camera on Banbury Road, Oxford, on Wednesday, 31st July 2024.
The device recorded her vehicle travelling at 38 mph in a 30 mph limit. The camera, of the digital Gatso type, is located on the southbound approach to Wychwood School.
Watson, who did not attend the short hearing, admitted the offence. Her solicitor told the court that she "fully understands her position and will accept her punishment".
Magistrates endorsed her licence with a further 3 penalty points, making her liable for a totting disqualification for a minimum of 6 months.
She was also fined £650 and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £120 towards prosecution costs.
